„ROOTS“ is a family business founded in Hamburg, consisting of DJs, promoters and event managers, which represents a series of events of the same name and shares a passion for African clubs music.

With „ROOTS“, the first Afro event in Germany has been taking place for over 3 years, which combines different music genres (Afrobeats, Trap, House, Hip-Hop and R&B) of the diaspora.

02. Who we are

Inspired by the African culture and the associated attitude to life, ROOTS organizes regular events in the most renowned venues in Hamburg.

In addition, ROOTS had the honor of conducting events three times in Berlin and once in Accra (Ghana).

Always with you is ROOTS Kitchen – our food stand with African cuisine.

Clubbing

Anyone familiar with Roots knows it started small. In just five years, it’s become one of Hamburg's top Afrobeats events, thanks to numerous club nights. The energy on the dance floor and stage makes our events a hub of club culture.

Festivals

In 2021, Roots Entertainment launched two major open-air festivals in Hamburg, featuring live acts like Willy Will, LMXX, and Dalila, plus guest DJs like P Montana, all with a vibrant African vibe and Ghanaian cuisine.
